This chart covers all shoe brands stocked at Alba Sydney including Pedro Garcia, Forte Forte, Weekend Max Mara, Philippe Model, Italian Velvet Slippers, Kashura, La Tribe, Joseph, Vince and Soeur. EU and Italian sizing are equivalent for most brands. French and Spanish sizes also align with EU. Australian women's sizes run approximately 1 size larger than UK. Always check half sizes where available. Sizes are a guide only.
How to measure
Place your foot flat on paper against a wall. Mark the longest point of your heel and your longest toe. Measure between the two marks in centimetres. Use the foot length column above to find your size.
Italian brands
Pedro Garcia, Forte Forte and Italian Velvet Slippers use Italian sizing, which aligns with EU. These brands can run narrow. If you are between sizes or have a wider foot, we recommend sizing up.
French brands
Philippe Model and Soeur use French sizing, which is equivalent to EU. Sizing is consistent with the chart above.
Spanish brands
Pedro Garcia originates from Spain. Spanish sizing aligns with EU. The chart above reflects this directly.

Australian ring sizes use the same letter system as UK. Highlighted rows (L, M, N) are the most common women's sizes. EU sizes represent inner circumference in mm.
How to measure
Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger. Mark where it meets, then lay flat and measure in mm. This is your circumference. Match to the EU column above, or divide by 3.14 for diameter.
Tips
Measure in the evening when fingers are at their largest. If between sizes, choose the larger. Wide-band rings fit tighter than fine bands at the same size.
| Size | Wrist circumference (cm) | Wrist circumference (in) | Bracelet length (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 14.0 – 15.2 | 5.5 – 6.0 | 16.5 – 17.0 |
| S | 15.2 – 16.5 | 6.0 – 6.5 | 17.0 – 17.8 |
| M | 16.5 – 17.8 | 6.5 – 7.0 | 17.8 – 19.1 |
| L | 17.8 – 19.1 | 7.0 – 7.5 | 19.1 – 20.3 |
| XL | 19.1 – 20.3 | 7.5 – 8.0 | 20.3 – 21.6 |
The most common women's bracelet size is M, corresponding to a wrist of approximately 16.5–17.8 cm. Bracelet length includes 1–1.5 cm ease for comfort. Bangle sizes are measured by internal diameter — the average women's bangle diameter is 6.0–6.5 cm.
| Size | Internal diameter (cm) | Internal circumference (cm) |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 5.7 | 17.9 |
| S / M | 6.0 | 18.8 |
| M / L | 6.4 | 20.1 |
| L / XL | 6.7 | 21.0 |
For bangles, the internal diameter must be wide enough to pass over your knuckles. Measure across the widest part of your hand when held flat together.
How to measure
Wrap a soft tape measure around your wrist just below the wrist bone. Note the measurement in cm. Add 1–1.5 cm for a relaxed fit, or 0.5 cm for a closer-fitting chain bracelet.
How to measure
Hold a flexible tape measure around your neck at the point where you want the necklace to sit. This is your ideal necklace length. Most necklaces are sold by total length — the pendant will hang at approximately half this measurement.
Layering
For a clean layered look, space necklaces at least 4–5 cm apart. A good combination is a choker or princess length with a matinee — for example, 40 cm and 55 cm worn together.
Neckline guide
V-neck: princess or matinee length follows the neckline beautifully. Crew neck: choker or longer matinee. Off-shoulder: longer lengths that sit clear of the neckline. High neck / turtleneck: long matinee or opera to create contrast.
Many pieces from Julie Vos and Anni Lu are adjustable by 2–3 cm. Check individual product listings for the exact length.
